“Took my Audi S4 in with transmission noises. No one else wanted to touch it. Ray and his team got it all sorted for me. While it took longer than we both thought it would, car runs like new with absolutely no more noise! Very satisfied with the service. Would recommend these guys for transmission issues.”

FAQ
Straight answers to the questions everyone asks.
Can’t find yours? Call (905) 669-0980 — a real person answers during shop hours.
Is it cheaper to fix or replace a transmission?
Fixing is usually cheaper when the failure is isolated — a solenoid, valve body, seal or torque converter. Replacement or rebuild wins when internal wear is widespread. We diagnose first and price both paths in writing so you can decide with real numbers, not guesses.
How much does transmission repair cost in Toronto?
Minor repairs run a few hundred dollars; valve body and torque converter work sits in the $800–$2,000 range; complete rebuilds are typically $2,800–$4,500 depending on the vehicle. CVTs and European units trend higher. Every job starts with a firm written quote — never a surprise invoice.
Is it worth fixing a transmission on an older car?
Often yes in today's used-car market: a $3,500 rebuild on a car worth $12,000 — one you know the history of — usually beats payments on a replacement vehicle. If the car is not worth fixing, we will tell you that plainly and put it in the report.
Should I go to a transmission shop or the dealership?
Dealers typically replace complete units at premium prices; specialists diagnose and repair at component level. For anything out of warranty, a specialist shop generally delivers the same quality outcome for thousands less — and we document everything, which helps if you later pursue a goodwill or class-action claim.
Do you work on CVT transmissions?
Yes — CVTs are one of our core specialties, including the Nissan, Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Hyundai/Kia and Mitsubishi units many general shops refuse. We stock manufacturer-specification CVT fluids and have the tooling and experience these units demand.
Do you offer warranties on transmission work?
Every repair, rebuild and replacement leaves with a written parts-and-labour warranty. We will spell out the exact coverage for your job in the estimate, before you approve anything.
Can you help if my car will not drive?
Yes. Call us first — we will help you arrange towing to the shop (CAA members: a tow to us is usually covered by your membership) and we will diagnose it as soon as it arrives.
Where are you located and is there parking?
22 Vanley Crescent in North York — off Chesswood Drive, just north of Sheppard Ave W between Keele and Dufferin, minutes from Highway 401, Allen Road and Highway 400. There is customer parking on site.
